FIRST GAME — HOW TO PLAY

01
OBJECTIVE

Be the first to get rid of all your stones.

02
SETUP

Divide the 20 black/charcoal playing stones* evenly — 10 per player.
The game arrives in the standard 4–4–4–4 configuration. Leave it that way for your first game

03
WHO GOES FIRST

Players decide. We suggest Rock–Paper–Scissors.

04
YOUR TURN

Place one playing stone flat inside the playing field and release it.

05
MINEFIELD RULES

If a mine engages your stone, it will pull it in and snap it to the mine.

A mine causes chaos — not a penalty by itself.

If your stone does not connect with another playing stone, leave it where it lands.

If your action causes playing stones to ⚡ SNAP! ⚡ together, pick up all connected playing stones and add them back to your supply.

06
WINNER

First player with zero stones remaining wins.

* Optional upgraded color playing-stone sets available.

PLAY A GAME OR TWO

01
PLAY IT STANDARD FIRST

Play a game or two with the standard 4–4–4–4 setup before changing anything.

02
WATCH WHAT HAPPENS

Pay attention to how the mines engage, how the stones move, and where ⚡ SNAP! ⚡ reactions happen.

03
LEARN THE BOARD

As stones accumulate, safe areas and dangerous areas begin to change. You’ll start learning how magnetic pull affects your next move.

04
THEN CUSTOMIZE YOUR CHAOS

Once you understand how the standard setup behaves, you’re ready to change the mine configuration and make the board your own.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR CHAOS

01
START WITH 4–4–4–4

Your Magnet Minefield arrives with 4 minefield magnets in each of the four mines. That standard setup is the best place to learn the board.

02
CHANGE EACH MINE

Each mine can be adjusted independently. Moving magnets between mines changes the strength and character of different areas of the board.

03
YOU DON’T HAVE TO USE ALL 16

Want a milder game? Remove some minefield magnets from play. Fewer magnets generally means a less aggressive minefield.

04
TURN UP THE CHAOS

Adding more magnets can make a mine engage and SNAP! much more aggressively. For normal play, we recommend no more than 8 magnets in any one mine.

05
STORE UNUSED MAGNETS SAFELY

Unused minefield magnets should be kept secure and away from the active playing field while you play.

06
FIND YOUR CHAOS FACTOR

Experiment until you find the setup you like. There is no single “correct” configuration — the fun is learning how different setups change the game.

Footnote:
Physical capacity: up to 17 magnets per mine. This is not the recommended playing configuration.

LEARN THE BOARD

01
REACTIONS CAN CHAIN

One move can trigger another. A stone may move, engage a mine, or cause nearby playing stones to react.

02
SNAP! MEANS CONNECTED

A reaction is movement caused by magnetic influence. SNAP! is when playing stones actually connect.

03
IF YOU CAUSE IT, YOU OWN IT

If your action causes playing stones to SNAP! together, you take all connected playing stones back into your supply.

04
PICKUP IS STILL LIVE PLAY

Retrieving connected stones can cause another reaction. If your pickup triggers more playing stones to connect, those connected stones are yours too.

05
THE BOARD KEEPS CHANGING

As stones accumulate, move, and get removed, safe areas and dangerous areas shift throughout the game.

06
LEARN TO READ THE BOARD

With experience, you’ll start recognizing magnetic pull, risky clusters, safer placement zones, and better ways to approach a move.

ACCESSORIES & UPGRADES

01
COLOR PLAYING-STONE SETS

Optional upgraded playing-stone sets in bold colors are planned for players who want a different look from the standard black/charcoal stones.

02
8-MAGNET CHAOS PACK

Add more minefield magnets for even more ways to experiment with your board and create new mine configurations.

03
MINEFIELD MAGNET PARKING SPOT

A dedicated storage accessory is being developed to securely hold up to 8 unused minefield magnets underneath the board.

04
MORE CHAOS IS COMING

Additional Magnet Minefield accessories and upgrades will be added as they are tested and ready.
